Boutique liveaboard expeditions through Milne Bay’s outer islands — diving reef walls the war left untouched, camping on atolls with no name on the chart, and sailing into villages still telling their own stories.
Sunrise Adventure Cruises was built out of Alotau, on the doorstep of the D’Entrecasteaux Archipelago — waters our captains have navigated long before “expedition cruising” was a category on a booking site.

Awesome experience, we were one of the first people ever to visit Sanaroa Island as part of this trip which was just absolute fantastic. We meet so many wonderful people and truly had an experience of a lifetime. The boat was comfortable and Andy is a great boat operator and also super friendly. Thank you for putting so much effort into making this trip so fun and interesting. I've traveled a lot and that was easily the most unique experience I've ever had. Thank you Desmond for making it all happen. Organising things in PNG isn't easy and overall it was smooth sailing and we we were all well looked after, with lots of food and smiles all around. Thank you again for our 5 day adventure. The spearfishing and fishing was great too and would love to come back one day with more time, 5 days works but you can also easily spend 10 days here.
